I am a highly motivated, professional and collegiate leader with extensive academic and research experience. I have developed a range of external partnerships and implemented strategies to increase revenue throughout my career. I am committed to encouraging all students to access higher education and I actively support and motivate both students and staff to reach their full potential. I have an international research profile having led international projects with a total budget of more than $25M and I have published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles. I can delegate, prioritise my workload, work autonomously and I am also extremely effective in a high performing team. Finally, I have excellent communication skills and can receive and act upon feedback.

• Head of a large engineering school at the University of South Wales in the UK

• Deputy Dean at Federation University

• Dean, Academic and Acting DVCA, with cross university responsibilities at UniSC
